Workshop: "Marketing Your Leadership and Transferable Skills"
Wednesday, November 8th, 2:00-3:30pm, LH 210G (Career Center)
Instead of our normally scheduled meeting this Wednesday, we will be meeting in the Career Center (LH 210G) for a workshop
on: "Marketing Your Leadership and Transferable Skills" from 2:00-3:30pm.
"How do you demonstrate to employers, graduate schools, and scholarship committees that you have the essential communications,
leadership, and analytical skills necessary to thrive in their environments?"
"This workshop will feature a recruiting executive from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, wich was recently named one of the top
5 employers on Business Week's list of 'Best Places to Launch a Career,' and the director of the CSUF Career Center in an
interactive session designed to help you recognize and sell your capabilities. Come prepared to identify how your leadership
skills can be summarized on a resume or in an interview!"
The information will be summarized in Thursday's regularly scheduled meeting (2:30pm, TSU, Stearns).
